Creating a Profile
If the Profile Library does not have the device or service you need, you can create your own custom profile. There are three methods available:
Method 1: Upload an OVA File
Upload an Open Virtual Appliance (OVA) file to create a profile from a virtual machine image. This is ideal for custom software, internal applications, or specific device configurations.
Visit the OVA Uploads page for more information
Method 2: Connect a Real Hardware Device (Transporter)
Create a hardware-based profile by connecting a real physical device through a Raspberry Pi transporter. This is ideal for proprietary hardware, legacy devices, IoT equipment, routers, and other devices that cannot be virtualized.
Visit the Transporter page for more information
Method 3: Request a Custom Profile
If you cannot provide an OVA or connect hardware, you can submit a request for the GreyNoise team to build a custom profile for you.
Visit the Request a Custom Profile page for more information
